[edit] NLC Neighborhood Empowerment Initiative Committee

The NLC Neighborhood Empowerment Initiative Committee (NEIC) was created at the April 24, 2007 NLC meeting with the follwing charge:

  • Stay informed about the Eugene City Council Neighborhood Empowerment Initiative.
  • Report periodically to the NLC any new information relating to the Neighborhood Empowerment Initiative.
  • Act as an advisory body to City staff if they have questions about the NLC's position.
  • Recommend to the NLC any action that might be appropriate.
  • Sunset when the Eugene City Council declare the Neighborhood Empowerment Initiative has been completed.
